PDL METER

Jan. 1, 2001

The PS3 series multimeter combines measurements of polarization-dependent loss, insertion loss, return loss, and power within a single instrument. Internal source lasers are available at 1310, 1480, 1550, 1625, and 1650 nm, or an external source can be used. It can be remotely controlled through GPIB and RS232C interfaces. Insertion loss and PDL are calculated within 2 s and displayed together.
