Attenuator

Sept. 1, 1999

An in-line, high-repeatability, electrically variable optical attenuator balances wavelengths in DWDM systems. It has a typical wavelength flatness of 0.1 dB across

1520-1580-nm band for attenuation of 0-20 dB. With an attenuation resolution of 0.7 dB, the device maintains its attenuation value even if electrical power is removed.
