Lumentis is to provide 3G network transport using its SDH technology for Hi3G's mobile network in Malmö.

Lumentis is providing SDH technology optimised for 2G and 3G networks. The equipment will provide Hi3G with an upgrade path and the ability to handle multi-service transport. The deal will include an element management system that fulfils functionality requirements and applicable standards for mobile networks.
