Deadline looms for FTTXcellence nominations

August 10, 2006 Nashua, NH -- The August 15 deadline for FTTXcellence Award nominations is less than a week away. Judges will soon begin their deliberations to choose the person who will be recognized for his or her achievements in promoting optical access networks.

August 10, 2006 Nashua, NH -- The August 15 deadline for FTTXcellence Award nominations is less than a week away. Judges will soon begin their deliberations to choose the person who will be recognized for his or her achievements in promoting optical access networks.

The FTTXcellence Award, sponsored by Corning Inc. and Lightwave, recognizes the individual who has done the most over the past year to advance the use of optical communications technology in North American access networks. This is the award's third year. Previous winners include George Bell of Verizon and James Hettrick of the City of Loma Linda.
