M-tron Industries Inc. (Yankton, SD) was awarded a $1.8-million contract by a major network switching equipment manufacturer. The manufacturer supplies telecommunications switching equipment worldwide. M-tron products, such as clock oscillators, voltage-controlled crystal oscillators, temperature-compensated crystal oscillators, and quartz crystals, are used in ATM backbone, time-division multiple-access infrastructure, and core switch equipment.
