Clock and data retiming IC

The MAX3875 is a 3V 2.5-Gbit/sec clock and data retiming IC that is suitable for OC-48 and STM-16 applications. The IC consumes 400mW of power and exceeds ITU and Bellcore jitter generation, transfer, and tolerance specifications. The phase-locked loop is fully integrated, so no external clock is required. The device has a 5ٷ-mm 32-pin TQFP package and tolerates greater than 2000 consecutive ones or zeros. A TTL loss-of-lock indicator is provided.
