Worldwide Fiber Inc. (Vancouver, BC, Canada) entered into an agreement with Level 3 Communications

Worldwide Fiber Inc. (Vancouver, BC, Canada) entered into an agreement with Level 3 Communications (Omaha, NE) to provide approximately 500 route-mi of fiber-optic connectivity between Buffalo, NY, Toronto, and Montreal. Worldwide Fiber will receive cash consideration from Level 3 and other participants in the build and, in accordance with its development strategy, will retain additional dark fiber strands for its own use. These strands will form a part of Worldwide Fiber`s 10,975-mi network scheduled for completion prior to 2001.
