Digital Lightwave Inc. (Clearwater, FL) announced that Nortel Networks (Brampton, ON, Canada) selected its Network Information Computer (NIC) to support the network installation of a major customer delivering internetworking services. Telogy Inc. (Menlo Park, CA) placed the order, which is valued at more than $1 million, with Digital Lightwave and leased the units to Nortel. The NIC is a lightweight, portable computer that provides comprehensive analysis of SONET, ATM, and T-Carrier networks and transmission equipment.
