Digital Island (Honolulu, HI), a provider of global electronic business solutions, announced the addition of private peering points in Mexico, Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom as part of its ongoing network expansion. The new point of presence in Monterrey, Mexico, introduces direct service to that country. Other private peering points in Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom provide additional redundancy to those highly trafficked regions. Overall, Digital Island now has 28 private peering arrangements in 16 countries with national backbone carriers and major ISPs.
