Telergy Inc. (Syracuse, NY) has partnered with Bell Atlantic Corp. (New York City) to provide high-speed data services to businesses along the East Coast. Telergy, established two years ago, is building a fiber-optic network throughout the Northeast and sells local and long-distance service to about 3500 businesses. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Telergy had struck an earlier $20-million deal to carry Bell Canada`s (Montreal) transmission traffic between Montreal and New York City.
