Cable & Wireless Global Marine (London) signed a multi-million dollar contract to supply Alcatel (Paris) with long-term marine installation services and associated project management. The signing will secure the use of Global Marine`s Cable Ship Nexus for important cable laying projects by Alcatel. The Nexus is capable of laying more than 12,000 km of undersea cable in a single trip.
