Graphite induction furnace

This furnace uses an induction heating technique to heat up the graphite heater inside the furnace, where the preform is placed. The furnace is designed for fiber- drawing applications of large-diameter optical preforms. According to the manufacturer, fast fiber drawing is ensured by a long hot zone, large furnace diameter, and advanced gas flow inside the furnace.
