Graphite induction furnace

This furnace uses an induction heating technique to heat up the graphite heater inside the furnace, where the preform is placed. The furnace is designed for fiber- drawing applications of large-diameter optical preforms. According to the manufacturer, fast fiber drawing is ensured by a long hot zone, large furnace diameter, and advanced gas flow inside the furnace. The furnace is available for various sizes of optical preforms and can be modified according to specific needs.
