Cable One names Ken Johnson as COO

The industry veteran brings over two decades of experience to his new role.

Cable One has tapped Ken Johnson as its new Chief Operating Officer. 

Johnson, who previously served as Cable One’s CTO and innovation officer, has over 25 years of industry experience. He has held executive leadership positions in technology and operations for companies of considerable size and complexity.

Johnson joined Cable One in 2018 when Cable One purchased NewWave Communications. During his tenure with Cable One, he has led teams driving technology to transform how the cable operator grows the business and enhances the customer experience while preparing for future demands. 

In his new role as COO, Johnson will add Residential and Business Services to his responsibilities.

Johnson’s appointment was effective on March 1, 2024.

Julie Laulis, Cable One President and CEO, said Johnson’s “extensive experience and background in the telecom industry will be invaluable as we continue executing our long-term philosophy of delivering balanced growth and significant free cash flow.”
