ACOME Group has wrapped its acquisition of Danish fiber manufacturer LYNDDAHL Telecom, which gives it a larger portfolio of fiber connectivity platforms to pursue more fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) opportunities in Europe.
“This is a key strategic move as we grow to become Europe’s leading provider of connectivity materials for high-speed fiber networks and meet the heightened demands of the fiber optic supply chain,” said Jacques de Heere, CEO of ACOME Group. “Uniting our customer network and sales teams will give the Group a huge boost to market our solutions internationally and expand our presence in Germany, the United Kingdom and the Nordic countries.”
LYNDDAHL Telecom manufactures ducts and microducts for FTTH providers, energy companies and installers. Since it was founded in 2020, LYNDDAHL Telecom has seen rapid growth in sales, with more than 20 million euros of turnover in 2023.
A significant benefit to both companies is scale.
The merging of the two companies brings together LYNDDAHL Telecom’s employees and office in Ribe, Denmark – where its products are developed and sold – with ACOME’s existing locations in France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and other countries outside of Europe. Later this year, LYNDDAHL Telecom plans to open a new facility in North Carolina.
