Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) California has named Mike Burnett to its senior leadership team as vice president of technical operations.

Burnett will be responsible for overseeing a team of 2,000 employees and all aspects of Comcast California's Technical Operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the media, cable and telecommunications industry. Prior to his role in California, Burnett was the vice president of field operations in Comcast's Oregon/Southwest Washington region; before that, he was vice president of sales channel effectiveness for the Comcast West Division.
