Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has appointed Amy Lynch senior vice president for the company's Mountain West Region. Lynch will oversee all Comcast cable operations within the region, including Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Tucson, AZ, and parts of Idaho. Throughout the region, the company serves more than 2 million residential customers, 154,000 business customers and employs more than 11,000 people.
Based in the company's Denver office, Lynch replaces Rich Jennings who now leads the West Division Field Operations.

"The Mountain West Region is filled with vibrant economies and communities," said Lynch. "Each state is packed with entrepreneurs, innovators and community leaders who advance business and drive connection. Our amazing team will continue to connect more people to what matters most, bringing our entrepreneurial spirit and values of respect, integrity and community engagement to the areas we serve."
Most recently, Lynch served as the senior vice president of Comcast's Washington Region, which serves 1.4 million residential customers and 73,000 business customers. Prior to that, she was the vice president of engineering operations for Comcast's West Division.
"Amy's background and leadership will help us continue the journey of making the customer experience our best product," said Jennings. "In our competitive market, Amy will challenge her teams to think differently about our business to continue to deliver results. She will be an excellent leader for the Mountain West Region."
