Northland Communications has appointed Andy Parrott as chief operating officer effective Sept. 3. Parrott will have responsibility for day-to-day operations across field services, engineering, network and technical operations, construction, IT, and customer care. He plans to spend significant time in the field across the company's footprint and will report to Phil Spencer, president and CEO of Northland.
Upon joining the Northland team, Parrott will help complete the company's ongoing investment in a company-wide system upgrade project, integrate the recently acquired Eagle Communications and pending Vyve Broadband assets, along with executing Northland's plan to build a customer-centric, broadband company focused on continued growth and acquisition.
Parrott joins Northland from Altice USA (NYSE:ATUS), where he most recently served as the senior vice president of operations for Altice's technical services division (ATS). Prior to Altice, he spent 14 years at Suddenlink Communications where he served as the corporate vice president of technical operations. Altice acquired Suddenlink in 2015.

Northland Communications, headquartered in Seattle, owns and manages cable systems in Alabama, California, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Washington. Recently acquired Kansas-based Eagle Broadband operates in Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado.
