Morse Micro: MM6108 Wi-Fi HaLow SoC

Feb. 26, 2025
Morse Micro's Wi-Fi HaLow product portfolio solves the challenges of long-range, low-power connectivity in IoT applications.

Morse Micro's Wi-Fi HaLow product portfolio, including the MM6108 Wi-Fi HaLow SoC, solves the challenges of long-range, low-power connectivity in IoT applications, overcoming the fundamental weaknesses of existing Wi-Fi versions. HaLow technology—standardized by the IEEE 802.11ah task group and certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance—is being adopted by many IoT device makers. Because Wi-Fi HaLow technology operates in the license-free sub-GHz frequency band, it offers power efficiency, extended range, large network capacity, advanced security, Wi-Fi compatibility and native IP support. This mix of capabilities makes Morse Micro's Wi-Fi HaLow SoCs and modules a solid choice for low-power, long-reach IoT use cases in home and building automation, video surveillance and security systems, industrial IoT, smart agriculture, transportation, logistics and asset management, smart city infrastructure, wearables, and other mobile devices.
JUDGE'S COMMENT: "HaLow support among CPE and sensor vendors is growing, especially in agricultural and livestock deployments."
