ZTE: 3-in-1 50G PON Combo Solution

ZTE’s 3-in-1 50G PON Combo solution addresses the evolution of PON technology.

ZTE’s 3-in-1 50G PON Combo solution addresses the evolution PON technology and integration with existing optical line terminal (OLT) platforms and optical network units (ONUs). It enables operators to deploy ultra-high bandwidth services on demand without changing the existing OLT and ODN. The 50G PON Combo solution enables the coexistence of GPON, XGS-PON, and 50G PON ONUs on one line card, optical module, and fiber, providing bandwidth according to customers’ demand. Thanks to the extreme convenience, ZTE has completed many 50G PON Combo trials with operators, such as the industry’s first 3-in-1 50G PON Combo field trial in Xiongan, China, with China Mobile, the industry’s first 50G PON FTTR-B campus network filed trail with China Telecom, and the Europe’s first 50G PON Combo trial with Turk Telekom.
JUDGE’S COMMENT: “This 3-in-1 50G PON combo solution addresses the evolution of PON technology and integration with existing OLT platforms and ONUs.”
