Ketsen, a 60 GHz wireless mesh network solutions provider, has struck a strategic partnership with CTIconnect, naming the company its master distributor for the United States and Canada.

The agreement will streamline distribution and improve product access and support for customers across the region.

Ketsen’s technology has been finding utility in various traditional service providers and city applications.

WeLink has deployed the technology in both the UK and Saudi Arabia.

The service provider is using Ketsen’s technology to deliver 2.5 Gbps wireless broadband service in Edinburgh's city center.

WeLink UK said it was able to connect the Old and New Towns without disrupting the World Heritage Site.

Due to the flexible and discreet nature of Ketsen's platform, WeLink was able to use Edinburgh Castle and street furniture as infrastructure sites.

Likewise, in Saudi Arabia, WeLink MENA deployed a street furniture network in Jeddah's downtown area, specifically designed for CCTV security to protect historic sites.

Through this agreement, Ketsen said its hardware users will benefit from stocked inventory, faster lead times, flexible credit terms, and a simplified purchasing experience.

As the exclusive distributor, CTIconnect will be the sole provider of Ketsen equipment in the region. The partnership follows a primarily single-step distribution model, with CTIconnect responsible for direct customer sales and fulfillment.

To broaden market reach, Ketsen hardware will be available through CTIconnect’s soon-to-launch Value-Added Reseller (VAR) program, bringing select partners into a managed two-step structure.

John Laughlin, CEO of CTIconnect, said the Ketsen partnership will make it “easier than ever for customers to access and deploy Ketsen’s technology.”
