Lightwave to host cable converged service panel at TechExpo 25

The panel will look at how cable operators are considering new fiber and converged services offerings to stay on a competitive footing with their telco competitors.

Lightwave is hosting a roundtable panel called Maintaining a Sustainable Competitive Advantage in Converged Service Offerings with industry experts at this year’s TechExpo 25 in Washington, DC.

The roundtable panel, which takes place on September 30 at 5-5:45 PM ET at The Loft, will feature cable and telecom industry experts talking about cable’s fiber and converged services journey.

As part of the roundtable discussion will also review the results of a recent survey Lightwave conducted on the topic.

Jointly moderated by Sean Buckley, Editor in Chief of Lightwave, and Patrick McLaughlin, Director of Content for Endeavor B2B, the panel will highlight several key trends facing cable operators:

· Leveraging converged-services business to obtain and maintain a competitive advantage

· Understanding the role of network enhancements, including all-fiber and DOCSIS 4.0 systems, in enabling the delivery of these services on a large scale over the long term

· Uncovering service providers’ plans for building networks that are robust enough to fulfill their business aspirations

The panel is open to all attendees of the show.
