360 Broadband joins EPC to bring broadband to rural Howe, Texas
360 Broadband has established a strategic partnership with design and construction firm EPC to deploy fiber internet in underserved rural communities, beginning with Howe, Texas. The collaboration combines 360 Broadband’s expertise in broadband service delivery with EPC’s infrastructure capabilities to deliver high-speed internet access to rural communities, where connectivity is essential for economic growth, education, healthcare, and long-term opportunity. Howe, Texas, is a growing rural community where reliable broadband access is critical to supporting residents, businesses, and future development. This project represents a significant step forward in expanding digital access and strengthening the local economy.

BroadbandOne and Georgia Business Net jointly deliver broadband to Augusta, GA, businesses
BroadbandOne (BB1) has entered a strategic partnership with Georgia Business Net (GABN) to deliver enterprise-grade broadband connectivity and managed technology services throughout the Augusta, Ga. market. This collaboration combines BroadbandOne's licensed mmWave wireless infrastructure with GABNs' locally delivered managed IT, UCaaS, CCaaS, and cloud services to address long-standing connectivity challenges faced by businesses, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and municipal entities across the region. Beyond connectivity, the BroadbandOne and GABN partnership is expected to drive local economic development by enabling business expansion, meeting modern workforce requirements, and improving access to high-quality broadband for critical community institutions. Initial network deployments are underway, with services expected to launch imminently in the Augusta market.

Comcast lights multi-gigabit internet to Pennsylvania’s Carbon, Luzerne, and Schuylkill Counties
Comcast has completed a network expansion in Northeastern Pennsylvania, providing symmetrical Internet to more than 8,800 homes and businesses across Carbon, Luzerne, and Schuylkill counties. This expansion has brought multi-gigabit Internet, mobile, entertainment, and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business to these areas for the first time. Specifically, residents of Banks Township in Carbon County, Hazle Township in Luzerne County, and Blythe, Delano, East Norwegian, Kline, Rush, Schuylkill, and Walker Townships, as well as McAdoo, Middleport, New Philadelphia, and Tamaqua Boroughs in Schuylkill County, can now visit Xfinity.com to check if their address is eligible for service. The Kaska neighborhood will be connected by spring 2026. Building on this expansion, Comcast has begun connecting the first homes and businesses in Mifflin Township. It will soon expand service across North Centre, Orange, Scott, and South Centre Townships — bringing multi-gigabit Internet to more than 2,700 homes and businesses in Columbia County. This project is also paving the way for future expansion toward Bloomsburg and Danville.

Empire Fiber brings free Wi-Fi to downtown Cortland, NY
Empire Fiber Internet has officially lit up the Downtown Cortland Wi-Fi Project in partnership with the City of Cortland, New York. Residents, visitors, and local businesses can now tap into free public Wi-Fi throughout the downtown district. It first brought its high-speed fiber network to Cortland in 2024, delivering symmetrical connectivity to more than 5,500 homes and businesses. The Downtown Wi-Fi Project builds on that momentum—extending internet access into the city’s most active public spaces. Empire Fiber Internet completed new community Wi-Fi installations at Beaudry ParkDexter Park, and Suggett Park in Fall 2025—expanding free public connectivity across some of Cortland’s most popular gathering spaces.

Spectrum expands fiber broadband network to over 600 Bath County, Kentucky locations
Spectrum has extended its fiber broadband network to more than 670 additional homes and businesses in previously unserved or underserved areas of Bath County, including locations near Olympia, Owingsville, Salt Lick, and Sharpsburg. The cable MSO’s multi-year rural construction initiative is driven by more than $7 billion in private investment from Spectrum. It will ultimately add 100,000 miles of fiber network infrastructure and deliver symmetrical, multi-gigabit speeds to more than 1.7 million new locations nationwide.

TDS celebrates 10K Montana customers
TDS Telecom has connected its 10,000th customer in Montana, marking another milestone as the company plans to expand and accelerate construction in the state. The service provider marked the occasion at Helena’s Holter Museum of Art, where technicians installed high-speed fiber services, and company representatives presented the organization with a gift basket and charitable donation. Crews continue extending TDS’s fiber internet network to more neighborhoods in Helena as well as Billings, Butte, Great Falls, and Missoula. As TDS accelerates construction in those communities, the company is also announcing plans to expand its network to Laurel and Lockwood, with work expected to begin later this year.
