Archtop Fiber lights up Sand Lake, N.Y.'s broadband market
Archtop Fiber began the continued expansion of its fiber network into the Town of Sand Lake, New York. Construction is currently underway, with the first homes and businesses expected to be connected to Archtop Fiber’s network this summer. When service becomes available, residents and businesses in Sand Lake will have access to symmetrical Internet speeds of up to 10 Gbps. As construction continues to support long-term connectivity improvements across the community, residents may notice Archtop Fiber crews marking roadways and utility corridors, accessing underground infrastructure, and installing network equipment, including flush-mounted ground boxes. The company is working closely with local officials to minimize disruption and restore impacted areas as efficiently as possible, with construction activities designed to limit interruptions.
Bigleaf launches enterprise-grade multipath wireless broadband

Brightspeed advances broadband build in Louisiana’s LaSalle Parish
LaSalle Parish continues to expand reliable broadband access, with another project providing high-speed internet to hundreds of locations. Delivered by Brightspeed, the expansion brings broadband service to 180 households and 28 businesses, expanding digital infrastructure in areas that previously lacked dependable connectivity. This expansion adds to the over 3,000 locations in LaSalle Parish that now have access to Brightspeed Fiber Internet, positioning the parish for long-term growth.
Comcast brings broadband choice to Farmington, New Hampshire
More than 2,300 new homes and businesses in Farmington, New Hampshire, now have access to multi-gigabit, symmetrical Internet from Comcast. Farmington joins the 65 million homes and businesses nationwide with access to a network that fuels innovation, productivity, and everyday connection. Farmington is part of the company’s investment in New Hampshire’s Strafford County, which also includes ongoing expansions in Milton and New Durham.
GoNetspeed makes Guilford and Madison its next Connecticut broadband targets
GoNetspeed plans to expand its fiber network to Guilford and Madison, adding two more communities to its growing Connecticut footprint. Backed by a fully funded $4 million investment, more than 4,200 households and businesses across both communities will gain access to symmetrical, multigigabit Internet speeds. Construction is expected to begin this summer, with GoNetspeed anticipating the first households and businesses to be connected as early as August. GoNetspeed continues to expand its fiber network across Connecticut, with Guilford and Madison set to join more than 40 communities already served by the company, including Ansonia, Bridgeport, Danbury, East Haven, Hartford, and New Haven. The planned expansion follows continued investment throughout the state, including a recent $4.2 million network expansion in Derby and Shelton.
Intrepid Fiber Networks to expand network reach into Corona and Riverside, California
Intrepid Fiber Networks, a wholesale open-access fiber infrastructure platform, is expanding its California network with an investment to build fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) infrastructure across the cities of Corona and Riverside in Riverside County. The deployment will bring symmetrical multi-gigabit broadband to over 50,000 homes and businesses. The Corona and Riverside builds are Intrepid's first deployment in the Inland Empire and its second California region overall, following the company's San Diego County debut in San Marcos and Vista earlier this year. Construction is expected to begin immediately, with service available to residents and businesses in 2026.
Lightcurve lights up 8 Gbps service in Centralia and Chehalis, Washington
Lightcurve has launched its new 8 Gbps fiber internet service in Centralia and Chehalis, bringing fiber broadband connectivity to homes and businesses throughout Lewis County. The service provider claims its new 8 Gbps service positions it as the fastest internet provider in Centralia and Chehalis, offering symmetrical speeds of up to 8 Gbps across its fiber network. The service is supported by advanced mesh Wi-Fi technology featuring 10-Gig-capable Wi-Fi. The fiber provider continues to invest heavily in fiber infrastructure across Lewis County, having previously launched 2 Gig internet service across Centralia and Chehalis.
Rise Internet to bring gigabit service to Dallas and the San Antonio market
Rise Internet’s latest gigabit service expansion is underway in Texas. The company is upgrading locations across the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio metropolitan areas using Tarana’s G2 fixed wireless technology. Over the past year, Rise has invested hundreds of millions of dollars to strengthen and expand its network. The company has also been actively deploying whole-home Wi-Fi 7 technology powered by eero across its footprint. When this initial phase is complete, Rise will be able to deliver broadband at data speeds over 1 Gbps to over 160,000 homes and businesses across Lytle, Royce City, East Bernard, Princeton, Rendon, Kaufman, Needville, Anna, Venus, Sanger, and Rockwall, TX.
WOW! expands fiber network to 20K Central Florida homes and businesses
WideOpenWest is set to equip 20,000 additional homes and businesses in Seminole and Orange counties with its all-fiber internet network service by fall 2026. With this latest expansion, WOW!'s fiber network will reach nearly 75,000 homes and businesses in Central Florida, including the communities of Longwood and Sanford in Seminole County and Fairview Shores, Ocoee, Rosemont and Engelwood Park in Orange County.
