Conexon Connect poised to complete third Florida fiber broadband project, marking 14th nationwide
Conexon Connect has reached a major construction milestone as it nears completion of its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network project in partnership with Florida’s Glades Electric Cooperative. Completing this network will mark the ISP's 14th nationwide network, completed in five years. The 1,600-mile Connect, powered by Glades Electric Cooperative, fiber network now spans Glades, Hendry, Highlands and Okeechobee counties, covering the vast majority of the Moore Haven, Florida-based cooperative's footprint, with final construction activities ongoing in select areas. With this network now complete, Conexon Connect continues to expand its footprint in the state, reaching more than 40,000 homes and businesses across rural Florida.

Ezee Fiber expands multi-gig fiber to new Illinois communities
Ezee Fiber is expanding its fiber network across Chicagoland, with construction underway in Streamwood, Roselle, Downers Grove, Naperville, Oak Brook and Bartlett, extending the company's footprint in the state and bringing multi-gig internet within reach of thousands of additional homes and businesses. The expansion follows Ezee Fiber's $400 million investment in Chicagoland, announced in July 2025. Ezee established an office in Elk Grove Village and employs approximately 25 people across community relations, sales, field operations and administrative roles. Residents will gain access to Ezee Fiber's full lineup of high-speed internet plans, with service starting at 2 Gbps.

Fidium lights fiber in Coos County, NH, via a grant partnership
With the completion of a partnership between Fidium and the State of New Hampshire, more than 20,000 homes and businesses across Coos County now have access to all-fiber connectivity, bringing multi-gig-speed internet to the region.  State officials, regional business, and community leaders gathered at the Coos Economic Development Corporation's annual Business Leaders of Coos (BLOC) Awards to commemorate the achievement with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. As part of the celebration, Coos County communities received the 'Gig Town' designation, recognizing widespread access to gig-speed connectivity. Coos County's all-fiber network is the result of collaboration between Fidium and the State of New Hampshire. The project was supported in part by broadband grants awarded to Fidium to close the digital divide in unserved and underserved communities.

GoNetspeed to add Salem to its Massachusetts fiber network
GoNetspeed plans to bring its fiber network to Salem, adding another Massachusetts community to its expanding network. Powered by a privately funded $15 million investment, the expansion will connect more than 11,700 homes and businesses to GoNetspeed’s high-speed internet as the company continues accelerating its growth across the Northeast. Pouring more than $250 million into underserved communities throughout the Commonwealth, GoNetspeed’s Massachusetts momentum is continuing to grow – with Salem soon benefiting from competition and a future-proofed network. As GoNetspeed continues expanding its Massachusetts footprint, Salem will join a growing list of communities across the state connected by the company’s fiber network, including Amherst, Easthampton, Granby, Ludlow, Springfield, and many others already connected or expected to receive GoNetspeed’s fiber internet service.

Race Communications advances fiber network expansion to Atwater, Calif., customers
Race Communications is continuing to expand service availability throughout Atwater, California. With construction progressing and service now live, Atwater’s initial construction areas are now connected to Race’s high‑speed fiber network, delivering symmetrical upload and download speeds designed to support remote work, online learning, streaming, and growing everyday connectivity demands. As Race connects customers, neighborhood by neighborhood, more homes and businesses will soon gain access to greater choice and speeds that scale up to 10 gigabits. Race now delivers fiber internet to more than 50 communities across California. Across California, Race has invested more than $200 million for 2026 to build out its fiber network, accelerating local connectivity and economic growth.

Ripple Fiber launches first fiber service customers in Washington State
Ripple Fiber has launched its fiber internet service to homes and businesses in Ocean Shores, Washington. With Ripple Fiber providing the area’s first fiber option, residents are now experiencing the benefits of the provider’s $250 million infrastructure investment, a project that expands across King County and Grays Harbor County. Soon, residents in the Federal Way area will also gain access to Ripple Fiber’s network, with service launch expected later this summer.

Spectrum Fiber Internet now available to 2,700 Homes and Businesses in Preble County, Ohio
