Fidium accelerates southern Minnesota expansion with five new fiber communities
Fidium has expanded its fiber internet network to Janesville, New Richland, St. Clair, St. James, and Vernon Center, bringing improved reliability and faster speeds to area homes and businesses. Fidium now reaches more than 30,000 homes and businesses in southern Minnesota and greater Mankato, and delivers future-ready speeds over its 5,000‑mile all‑fiber network in the state. Communities with fiber access include Eagle Lake, Garden City, Good Thunder, Janesville, Lake Crystal, Madison Lake, Mankato, Mapleton, New Richland, Nicollet, North Mankato, St. Clair, St. James and Vernon Center, with more locations to be connected soon across the state.

GoNetspeed powers up fiber internet for Norwich, New York
GoNetspeed has connected Norwich’s first customers to its multigigabit, fiber network. With the first of 3,100 Norwich homes and businesses now connected, GoNetspeed’s $4 million investment is delivering speeds of up to 6 Gbps, bringing future-ready connectivity directly to the doorsteps of more New Yorkers. As GoNetspeed continues to expand its network across New York and the Northeast, Norwich will join more than 30 New York communities already served by GoNetspeed, including Buffalo, Geneva, Lockport and Utica, with additional communities, including Oneonta, part of a recent $4.5 million expansion.

Race Communications sets Dinuba, California as its next fiber broadband target
Race Communications is expanding its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network to the City of Dinuba, aiming to connect 4,000 homes and businesses throughout the city to fiber internet. Building upon the company’s more than $200 million California expansion, construction throughout Dinuba is anticipated to begin this fall. Residents interested in construction updates or learning more about Race's services can visit Race.com. Spectrum’s rural broadband initiative reaches Montcalm County, Michigan
Spectrum has begun expanding its fiber broadband network to more than 1,700 additional homes and businesses in previously unserved or underserved areas of Montcalm County, Michigan. The buildout included portions within the townships of Belvidere, Bloomer, Bushnell, Cato, Crystal, Douglass, Evergreen, Ferris, Maple Valley, Montcalm, Pine, Reynolds, Sidney and Winfield. Spectrum’s multi-year rural construction initiative is driven by more than $7 billion in private investment. It will ultimately add 100,000 miles of fiber network infrastructure and deliver symmetrical, multi-gigabit speeds to more than 1.7 million new locations across the country. The expansion was funded in part by a Realizing Opportunity with Broadband Infrastructure Networks (ROBIN) Broadband Grant, a joint effort between Spectrum and the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office (MIHI) to deliver high-speed internet to unserved communities. This project is supported, in part, by federal award number CPFFN0190 awarded to The State of Michigan by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.  

TDS to bring its fiber internet network to more Idaho and Oregon communities
TDS Telecommunications is expanding its fiber internet network to additional communities in southwest Idaho and eastern Oregon, bringing a new option for internet, phone, and TV services to Emmett, Idaho, and Ontario, Oregon. This expansion will provide nearly 10,000 local homes and businesses with lightning-fast speeds up to 8 Gbps. Ontario and Emmett join several other TDS communities in the greater Boise area, including Nampa, Caldwell and Meridian. Construction start dates in both cities are still to be determined. Network construction will be done in phases, and customers can connect once work in their neighborhood is complete.

Xfinity brings broadband to 2K Deerfield, New Hampshire locations
Xfinity is equipping more than 2,000 homes and businesses in Deerfield now have access to multi-gigabit, symmetrical Internet. Deerfield now joins more than 65 million homes and businesses nationwide. Comcast’s most recent expansion to Deerfield is part of the company’s latest investment in New Hampshire’s Rockingham County, which also includes expansions to Northwood along with adjacent communities such as Farmington, Milton, and New Durham.
