Huawei: OptiXtrans DC908

Huawei is taking on the data center interconnect (DCI) opportunity with its OptiXtrans DC908, a series of optical-electrical integrated WDM transmission devices. The Huawei OptiXtrans DC908 and DC908 Pro platforms are suitable for DCI scenarios across industries and enterprises with high digitalization, including OTT providers, MTDCs, IXPs, financial services, and large enterprises. The OptiXtrans DC908 Pro supports a single wavelength at 800 Gbps to 1.2 Tbps and is ready to help 2 Tbps, with fiber capacity evolving to 96 Tbps per fiber. The dual-ended protection switching mechanism eliminates latency differences caused by service switching between paths, ensuring high service security and continuity. Further, the Huawei OptiXtrans DC908 Pro supports multiple interface types, including Ethernet and Fibre Channel (FC).
