InSiGa: 53Gbaud/s PAM4 BOSA - ISG-O5417E

InSiGa has responded to the growing demand for high-speed 100 Gbps (53 Gbaud/s) modules as bandwidth requirements rise. The most popular 100G ER4 30km solution currently in use does not support bidirectional operation due to the requirement for 4 distinct wavelengths. With conventional TO-based BOSA, it is hard to get high ER and good TDECQ performance due to the reflection caused by the poor return loss due to a combination of TO pin impedance and EML impedance. ISG-O5417E addresses these issues by integrating the driver on the TX side, which provides a 100-ohm differential impedance.
