Senko: SN and SN-MT Backplane Connector

Building on SENKO’s Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) platform, the SN and SN-MT connectors for backplane applications allow up to four SN or SN-MT connectors to mate simultaneously, with each supporting 2 to 32 fibers, for a total of up to 128 fibers. Featuring coarse outer alignment for easy blind mating and precise VSFF optical alignment for high performance, this system enables the deployment of fully optical backplanes in dense AI and HPC racks. The SN and SN-MT Backplane Connector integrates coarse alignment with a built-in floating mechanism, allowing the connector interface to self-adjust before optical engagement.
