Infraeo’s 1.6T OSFP LPO 2xDR4/DR8 (8x200G PAM4) transceiver is designed for high-density AI infrastructure, offering a low-latency, low-power, and cost-efficient optical solution for next-generation networks. Built with silicon-photonics optical engines and linear transmitters and receivers, this solution serves scale-up and scale-out networks.  The 1.6T OSFP LPO DR8/FR8 transceiver supports 8x200G PAM4 lanes for an aggregate data rate of 1.6Tbps over single-mode fiber. It features a silicon photonics optical engine with linear laser drivers and ROSAs. This architecture simplifies manufacturing and improves thermal and power performance, with a maximum module power draw of 10W. The hot-pluggable OSFP form factor is compliant with OSFP MSA and includes dual MPO-12 APC receptacles and supports CMIS Rev. 4.0 for diagnostics and configuration via a two-wire serial interface. With support for both DR and FR optical bands and a mass-production-friendly design, this LPO module is ideal for deployment in AI clusters, hyperscale networks, and data centers supporting 1.6T interconnects.

Judge’s comment: “Infraeo’s OSFP module supports 8x200G PAM4 transmission and will attract attention from data center network operators and others looking for an LPO approach to AI infrastructure support.”
