OneCloud Networks selects CloudGenix for SD-WAN

CloudGenix says that OneCloud Networks, a U.S. managed services provider, has selected its suite of software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) products to broaden the provider's managed services portfolio. CloudGenix says its SD-WAN suite provides instant-on network (ION) capabilities that simplify the design and management of WANs, enabling customers to achieve double the performance at less than half the cost, while expanding data center-class security. CloudGenix says OneCloud is partnering with it to provide customers an end-to-end managed WAN.

According to CloudGenix, WAN transport independence, coherent integration of internet circuits in the remote office, reliable deployment of cloud and software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, advanced WAN high availability, and reduction of remote office hardware and cost are some of the benefits the SD-WAN will implement.

"We are excited to provide our customers with transformational WAN technology in a managed service to allow them to simplify their network, integrate heterogeneous transports, adopt the cloud, and reduce cross across the board," said Haider Mirjat, OneCloud chief solutions officer. "CloudGenix was the right choice given their top-down application-based view of the world that aligns networking with business intent."

OneCloud's managed SD-WAN service will provide customers with an extensive set of managed services that are not readily available with other SD-WAN platforms, including unified communications, networking, and mobile device management, says CloudGenix.

The SD-WAN service from OneCloud also eliminates the need to approach WAN as a disjointed set of networking configuration and low-level rules. According to CloudGenix, customers can select applications, their level of service, and which network links they need to use with OneCloud's managed SD-WAN service.

CloudGenix says the managed SD-WAN service from OneCloud Networks is now generally available.
