The OPF2416TC (125-MHz) and OPF2418TC (155-MHz) fiber-optic receivers feature threaded ST connectors in electrically conductive plastic receptacles, which reduce electromagnetic interference effects on receiver sensitivity. This feature also lets designers isolate the signal and conductive grounds. The receivers use 850-nm wavelength and multimode fiber. Applications include LANs, modems, computer networking, and ATM interface.
