Multichannel dwdm

The MegaWav dense wdm multiplexes up to nine optical digital data streams on a single fiber. When used with the SL4000 multichannel video transporter, up to 54 video signals can be transported on a single fiber at a 10.8-Gbit/sec aggregate bit rate. The unit handles two, four, five, eight, or nine signals on a single fiber and provides add/drop/pass filtering of one or more wavelengths.
