dwdm laser module

The 1915 lmi 20-mW laser module is designed for dwdm direct modulation operations. The module contains a strained laser multiple quantum well laser chip. Output powers of 15 and 20 mW are available as standard options. The itu-t wavelength-allocation grid is offered from 1528 to 1563 nm with 50-GHz spacing. The device contains a thermoelectric cooler, thermistor, single-stage optical isolator, and singlemode fiber pigtail. Applications include 2.5-Gbit/sec operation for dwdm short-haul metropolitan-area networks, long-haul booster-free systems, and test equipment.
