DWDM monitor

This dwdm monitor enables service providers to examine the integrity of each optical channel in a dwdm network simultaneously. The device measures the amplitude, wavelength, and signal-to-noise ratio of each optical channel. The monitor`s resolution and sensitivity comply with the itu wavelength plan. The product is fully telemetry-integrated and is supported by this manufacturer`s optical telemetry systems. An onboard processor and imbedded software perform all numerical calculations with the raw and/or processed data transferred by the optical telemetry system to a remote network manager. An RS-232 interface on the front panel of the monitor also provides for local access to the module.
