Laser light source

This tunable laser light-source system is designed for 32- and 64-channel dwdm. Typical output power is greater than 8 dBm and the tuning range is more than 100 nm. The system is designed around a 19-in-wide rack. Tuning range is 1520 to 1590 nm, and a range to 1610 nm is available as an option. Tuning resolution is <0.01 nm, wavelength stability is <۪.01 nm, output stability is <۪.01 dB, and coherence (control on) is greater than 40 MHz. The system can be used as a light source for dwdm system development and production. It also can be used for testing and characterization of dwdm system components as well as optical fiber.
