Media converter

The Model iMcT 10-Mbit/sec Ethernet media converter converts 50-pin telephone company twisted-pair connections to thin, coaxial-cable singlemode fiber, multifiber, and twisted-pair cabling. Network managers can monitor and control port status, eliminate unmanageable devices between their switches and long-haul fiber links, identify lost links, and power supply features, and turn FiberAlert and LinkLoss on and off from their PCs. The iMcT chassis/12 includes one 50-pin connector, one slot for a master or slave module, and twelve slots for installing any combination of iMcT-pim modules. The converter is available with 120/240V AC or -48V DC power, with an additional slot for a second, redundant power supply.
