Calient Networks will exhibit its DiamondWave all-photonic switching system in multiple long-haul and metro network applications at SUPERCOMM 2001 in Atlanta, June 4-7, booth 2668, Hall C.

The DiamondWave switch is interoperable with Juniper gigabit routers and Tellabs metro DWDM transport systems to show the ability of transparent photonic switching to fully support DWDM trunking, transponderless switching, drag-and-drop provisioning of wavelength services, and multi-service SONET and Gigabit Ethernet delivery. Calient's multi-vendor network will implement the most advanced Generalized Multiprotocol Label Switching (GMPLS) functionality demonstrated to date, including both UNI and NNI interface operation resulting in dynamic call set-up of lambda paths over a fully photonic network.

Calient will also be involved in multiple speaking engagements at SuperComm.
