JANUARY 25, 2011 -- Zayo Group, a provider of fiber-based bandwidth infrastructure, and FORETHOUGHT.net, a provider of Internet, voice, and data services throughout Colorado, have entered a multi-year, dark-fiber infrastructure agreement.

FORETHOUGHT.net will leverage Zayo’s dark-fiber network to interconnect carrier central offices throughout the Denver metro area, as well as directly connect the FORETHOUGHT.net network to customer buildings. This infrastructure will be used by FORETHOUGHT.net to deliver additional Ethernet services over fiber to customers and expand FORETHOUGHT.net’s network footprint.
“Zayo’s Denver metro-fiber backbone and bandwidth infrastructure solutions enable us to deliver secure and robust IP, voice, and data services over a reliable and scalable fiber-optic network,” says Jawaid Bazyar, president of FORETHOUGHT.net.
“Zayo recently added 100 miles of new fiber routes in Denver to provide scalable bandwidth infrastructure for communications service providers and private high-speed networks for enterprises and government institutions,” adds Glenn Russo, president of Zayo Networks.
