Fiber-optic modem/multiplexer

OSD 157 fiber-optic modem provides full-duplex synchronous or asynchronous communications over a 2-fiber optical cable. This self-contained modem comes in an 8-line RS-232 or a 6-line RS-422 configuration. It operates with all standard multimode fibers over 3 km, and as a higher cost option, can operate over 10 or more km of singlemode fiber. The modem is available as a standalone or rack-mountable unit and can be used as a 6- or 8-channel multiplexer.
