Fiber-optic modem

OSD325 fiber-optic modem offers full-duplex video, high-quality program audio, data, 2- or 4-wire intercom, as well as hook on/off signaling for intercom. Normal operation is over two singlemode or multimode fibers (one for each direction); singlemode fiber operation is available with an optional built-in WDM. The modem is available as a stand-alone AC- or DC-powered module or as a plug-in card for the OSD370 14-slot, 19-inch rack-mounting chassis. Applications include closed-captioned TV systems using reverse video channel for camera synchronization, videoconferencing and deployable video/audio surveillance systems.
