This low polarization dependent loss (PDL) coupler component has < 0.03-dB loss across the 1550-nm wideband region. Couplers are also available in dual window splitter and tap versions with < 0.05-dB PDL. Proprietary Fuse-Lock process technology forms the basis for components with exceptional low loss and PDL. The couplers are ideal for DWDM applications and systems, which are polarization sensitive.
