PS-HNA-40 specialty fiber has intrinsically photosensitive high NA. It offsets radiation and cladding modes in the transmission spectra of fiber Bragg gratings for DWDM, is suitable for Type IIA gratings because of its high germania content, and allows low splice loss to other higher NA fibers.
