Norkring places new order with Net Insight

August 17, 2006 Stockholm, Sweden -- Norkring, owned by Telenor AS, with nationwide transmission networks for television and radio, has placed a new order with Net Insight under the frame agreement signed in May. The equipment will be delivered this year and is part of the digital terrestrial TV network in Norway, which will be built and operated by Norkring on behalf of Norway's Television AS (NTV).

August 17, 2006 Stockholm, Sweden -- Norkring, owned by Telenor AS, with nationwide transmission networks for television and radio, has placed a new order with Net Insight under the frame agreement signed in May. The equipment will be delivered this year and is part of the digital terrestrial TV network in Norway, which will be built and operated by Norkring on behalf of Norway's Television AS (NTV).

This delivery of the Net Insight solution will be used in the backbone of the Norwegian DTT network to further facilitate the transport of mission-critical TV contribution and distribution streams, bursty IP traffic, and telephony with full quality of service in a cost-effective way.
