MARCH 1, 2010 -- Mammoth Networks has announced its continued nationwide expansion as a facilities-based reseller with the completion of its most recent fiber deployment, in Denver, CO. Using CWDM equipment, this installation was lit on February 28, 2010, and can carry a signal of up to 10 Gbps.

This new fiber will be used to aggregate rural exchange connectivity from around the Rocky Mountains.

“With the uncertainty surrounding broadband in the U.S. and the explosion of IP communications, it is imperative that companies in rural areas have the necessary resources to not only compete, but also to prosper,” said Mammoth Networks’ president and founder, Brian Worthen. “We are committed to working with the independent and smaller carriers across the country that do not have many options; they should not be hamstrung with unfair costs by larger carriers and connectivity providers.”

In 2009, Mammoth Networks surpassed several noteworthy corporate milestones. In addition to establishing POPs in both Atlanta and Chicago, Mammoth achieved monthly revenue growth every month of the year. For more on Mammoth, see "Mammoth Networks expands into Minnesota, North Dakota."
