ANDA Networks partners with TVC, expands presence in Canadian broadband market
MARCH 1, 2010 -- ANDA Networks, provider of carrier-class fiber and copper-based access platforms for wireline networks or wireless backhaul applications, has entered into a distribution partnership with TVC Canada, a regional unit of international distributor TVC Communications.
Through the partnership, TVC Canada will distribute ANDA’s Carrier Ethernet solutions for business services and wireless backhaul capabilities, providing Canadian cable operators and carriers with end-to-end network visibility ensuring a uniform quality experience at low operational management cost.
TVC has chosen ANDA’s EtherReach network termination equipment and EtherEdge aggregation solutions to enable its cable customers to offer business services and mobile backhaul transport solutions over its networks with demonstrable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Using ANDA’s EtherProbe, a real-time performance monitoring tool, mobile backhaul traffic can be continuously monitored to dynamically maintain uniform Quality of Experience (QoE) across all mobile subscribers as traffic moves in and out of cell sites. Cable operators can generate new revenue opportunities by delivering Ethernet private lines, transparent LAN services, managed VPNs, and value-added transport services backed by real-time performance monitoring, load balancing, and automated protection switching for optimization of carrier-grade service quality SLAs.
“Our agreement with ANDA will improve our customers’ bottom lines by providing a cost-effective solution to their scalable bandwidth and real-time performance limitations,” says Luc Morissette, TVC Canada’s V.P. sales and business development. “Migrating wireline and wireless backhaul network services from circuit-to-IP packet-based Ethernet services saves operators CAPEX and minimizes precious OPEX when using ANDA’s integrated EtherProbe test and monitoring capabilities, which we are pleased to offer our Canadian cable and carrier customers.”
Beginning March 2010, ANDA’s EtherEdge 4000, 4300, and EtherReach 1000 and 2000 series access products will be sold and distributed by TVC Canada.
