Network USA taps BTI Systems for packet services infrastructure
MARCH 15, 2010 -- BTI Systems says that regional telecommunications service provider Network USA is using the BTI 7000 Series to deliver services throughout Louisiana.
Network USA operates in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi and delivers a broad range of services from private-line and high-capacity wavelength through a portfolio of Ethernet services. The BTI 7000 Series has been in service with Network USA for one-and-a-half years. BTI Systems gear is deployed for regional network connectivity across Louisiana between Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and other metropolitan markets served by Network USA.
To complement existing wavelength service capabilities, Network USA recently added the BTI 7000 Series’ packetVX modules within the Baton Rouge to Shreveport corridor to provide Carrier Ethernet-based capabilities addressing increased packet service demands from enterprises and wholesale connectivity requirements. Network USA can now deliver Layer 2-based Ethernet services and multiprotocol wavelength private-line services from one platform, says BTI Systems.
“Having one platform that allows packet-based and wavelength client service delivery and convergence of our various service offerings across our regional footprint simplifies our operations greatly,” commented James Davis, CEO, Network USA. “The BTI 7000 Series is the network foundation that enables Network USA to anticipate the needs of our customers and deliver innovative services.”
