DECEMBER 1, 2010 -- Driven by increasing demand for business Ethernet services, tw telecom (NASDAQ: TWTC) has expanded its optical fiber network in the metro Atlanta area. The expansion reaches more than 600 additional commercial buildings in business districts within the cities of Johns Creek, Suwanee, Duluth, Norcross, Emory University area, Decatur, and Tucker.
tw telecom will use the network to provide services to businesses in the healthcare, insurance, financial services, professional services, higher education, manufacturing, and government industries.

Tw telecom’s fiber network in Atlanta now stretches more than 550 route miles in the metro area.
