CFN Services deploys Cyan Z-Series for low-latency data center services

MAY 17, 2010 -- CFN Services has deployed Cyan's Z-Series packet-optical transport platforms to provide low-latency networking for the Low Latency Global Exchange infrastructure and expand its presence in the Frankfurt and London financial markets.

MAY 17, 2010 -- CFN Services has deployed Cyan's Z-Series packet-optical transport platforms to provide low-latency networking for the Low Latency Global Exchange infrastructure and expand its presence in the Frankfurt and London financial markets.

CFN Services provides managed network and collocation optimization infrastructure to enterprise businesses, financial institutions, and cloud-based application service providers. "We've seen our traffic capacity demands grow 300 percent over the past two years," said Wil Tirado, vice president of network egineering of CFN Services.

"We selected the Cyan Z33 to meet our growing demands for ultra low-latency 10-Gigabit Ethernet transport between key financial markets in Europe," added Tirado. "After evaluating numerous vendor solutions we found the Z33 to offer the best combination of low-latency performance our customers and applications demand, with the scale and economics to meet the needs of our business."
