Orange Fab said it is partnering with Google Cloud's Startup Program, NVIDIA's Inception Program, Microsoft IoT and AI Insider Labs, LAB IX Flex Ventures, Publicis Groupe, Groupe Seb, Michelin, Valeo, Ping An Technology, and Lumi to launch its Fab Connect(ai) platform.

Orange Silicon Valley (OSV) is the San Francisco Bay division of global telecommunications provider Orange, and Orange Fab is the OSV platform that links startups to corporations using an onsite industry analyst team, online content platform, CVC network, and thought leadership events. The company designed Fab Connect(ai) to address issues from current ecosystem's being too fragmented to cooperate with one another.

These ecosystems are involved operating environments with defined technology providers and several stakeholders. Orange Fab says it initiated the Fab Connect(ai) partnership to offer entrepreneurs a unified network, promoting the advancement of artificial intelligence-driven smart connectivity.

Fab Connect(ai) has developed an ecosystem of resources available to seed-stage startups who are closing the gap between AI and universal smart connectivity. To fulfill the potential of the intelligent enterprise, smart home, AI-driven factory, and smart city, the platform will offer an aggregate of AI, networking technologies, chipsets, and sensors, Orange Fab affirms. Participating startups will have access to the Fab Connect(ai) network of seed-stage investors and corporations delivering technical resources and real-world business solutions.

According to Orange Fab, Fab Connect(ai) will enable international corporations to connect their networks together to source external innovation, and will focus on a unique, strategic technology topic each season. The first season's focus will be on startups working at the junction of AI and IoT.

"Fab Connect is a disruptive global acceleration experience," said Julien-David Nitlech, Iris Capital partner. "It connects the next generation of Industry 4.0, AI, and smart connectivity startups with world-class industry leaders to help them disrupt their space. Fab Connect is building bridges between startups and innovative corporates, which we are familiar with at Iris Capital, thanks to our Venture initiative built in partnership with leading corporate partners, and we look forward to supporting this unique accelerator."
