Optical-amplifier module

The fluoride-based optical-amplifier module suits wdm and dwdm networks. The module exhibits uniform gain in excess of 30 dB from 1534 to 1562 nm, a saturated output power of >13 dBm, and noise figure of <4.5 dB. The unit incorporates wdm couplers, optics, and pump laser and monitoring photodiodes.
